Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA)

All international flights to Namibia should be booked to Hosea Kutako International Airport, which is situated 45 km from the Windhoek city centre.

The said Airlines connect HKIA to international hubs such as Frankfurt, Accra, Munich, Luanda and other regional destinations including Victoria Falls in Zambia.

Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA) is a modern airport and facilities include retailers, ground-handlers, restaurants, lounges, which includes truly Namibian cuisines and souvenirs, bureau de exchange services, car rentals, parking (short and long-term) and tax refund facilities. Transport to and from the airport is available by means of airport shuttles and desks are available within the airport terminal.

Customs and duty-free allowance

All visitors to Namibia must complete an entry and exit form, which is normally provided on the incoming flight. You will need to state the reason for, and duration of your visit and provide an address of where you will be staying in Namibia.

Items carried for personal use and not intended for gifts or for sale are duty free, including cameras, video cameras, binoculars, portable computers, cellular phones, etc, as are the usual quantities of beer, wine, spirits, tobacco and perfumes, etc.
